Overview

Small tree cultivar of M. grandiflora. Densely branched tree. Creamy white fragrant flowers during all summer. Small dark green glossy leaves with brownorange velvety underside. Branches almost black. Suitable for hedges. Frost hardy. Distinctive features: striking reddish pink leaf buds and wavy leaf margins. Presumably a hybrid of Magnolia grandiflora ‘Little Gem’ × M. g . ‘Bracken’s Brown Beauty’. Flowers at young age. Strong resemblence to M. ‘Starwars’.
